Tunnicliffe/Le Berre start race to see who goes forward; Le Roy over Barkow

Tunnicliffe and Le Berre are in a must win race to see who carries on into the quarters. This should be the toughest race of the event so far.

Le Berre is over as Tunnicliffe leads left leaving the French in a precarious spot.

“The left has been paying so far,” says Kevin Burnham who won a gold medal in 470s in 2004 who is observing his wife Elizabeth Kratzig aboard Barkow’s boat. “It’s very one sided.”

With that info it looks like Tunnicliffe is in a very strong position.
